On August 22, 2019, Banking University Ho Chi Minh City and Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam signed the Agreement on Training Cooperation and Scientific Research between the two sides.

Representative of Banking University HCMC was Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Duc Trung – Vice-Rector and M.S. Nguyen Van Nhat – Deputy Director in charge of Training Center for Economics – Finance – Banking (FBC) and other representatives of the University. On the side of Vietcombank, the representative was Mr. Tran Manh Thang – Deputy General Director of Vietcombank, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung – Board of Directors ’s Member and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kieu Huu Thien – Director of Vietcombank Human Resource Training and Development School and other representatives of Vietcombank Banking Headquarters and Vietcombank School.

In the spirit of respect and responsibility, representatives of the two sides had an effective and successful working session to sign a cooperation agreement in training and scientific research activities. Accordingly, the two sides pledged to cooperate in developing high-quality training programs, equipped with comprehensive knowledge

and skills for human resources in the Economic – Finance sector. In addition, the two sides did not forget the task of creating favorable conditions for students, lecturers and staff to maximize their ability in scientific research activities, economics, finance, and bank.
